MEREDA’s energy and economic-development discussion covers Maine’s changing energy demand, infrastructure, affordability, policy and business investment. Erica Young of Versant Power and Patrick Woodcock of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce are confirmed speakers; another panelist is to be announced. Charlie Summers of the Maine Energy Marketers Association moderates. Buffet breakfast is 8:30–9 AM, followed by the program from 9–10 AM at Hollywood Casino. Tickets are $45 for members and $55 for non-members, rising $10 after October 21. RSVP is requested by October 21, with payment at registration. No-shows and cancellations after that date are not refunded.
